A Curly-coated Retriever, also known as Curly, is a friendly and playful pooch breed originally bred in England for upland bird and waterfowl hunting. Initially, it was bred in England for waterfowl hunting and upland birds. Among the retriever dog breeds, it is the tallest.

Azawakh is a pure dog breed from West African countries(Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso). It is also known as Hanshee, Oska, Rawondu, or Wulo. The Hanshees are known to be deeply affectionate, independent, and loyal. They are not open to strangers and can adapt to various surroundings. Moreover, Hanshee has a short, fine coat available in red, clear sand to fawn, brindled, parti-color, blue, black, and brown colors.

Otterhound is a large-sized English rare dog breed from medieval England. This breed was created to help hunters in pursuing and hunting otters. These dogs are big, shaggy dogs with famous traits to match. Otterhounds are also known as Vulnerable Native Breeds as per the Kennel Club.  Their broad chest enables them to swim although minus getting tired.

Norwegian Lundehund is a small dog derived from Norway and is a Spitz-type dog. They are also known as Norsk Lundehund and Norwegian Puffin Dog. Norwegian puffins are mostly known by their nickname Lundehunds. This is a rare and unique dog that possesses six functional toes on each paw. They are mostly based in Norway and are around 1,500 in number globally. Norwegian Puffins were initially designed to hunt puffins and their eggs in unreachable nesting places like caves and cliffs.

Pomchi dog breed is a small-sized designer dog derived from crossing the Pomeranian and the Chihuahua dog breeds. Pomchis are also known as Pomahuahua, Chimeranian, and Chi-Pom. These dog breeds have been there since the late 1990s. Being a mixed breed Pomchis can vary in looks as others are poofie while others have a shot coat. Their parents have upright ears and a carried high tail.

Kai Ken, also known as Tora Dog is a medium-sized dog breed also called the Tiger Dog or Tora Inu. It is native to the Kai region, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. There, the pooch is a national monument. Furthermore, Kai Ken is a rare dog even in its native land.
