English Shepherd also known as Farm Collie, Farm Shepherd, Old Farm Collie, and American Farm Shepherd is a medium-sized dog breed. It is mostly known as a herding dog from the United States due to its ability to work livestock and its physical and structural appearance. Scottish and English immigrants first bred them in the 17th century, originally used as a herding dog. They have a long, straight, or wavy double coat that has the legs and tail feathery.
