The first Abys cats to be displayed in England were brought from Ethiopia, previously known as Abyssinia where they got their name. Nonetheless, genetic studies revealed that this cat breed originated in the coasts of the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia.

Bombay Cat is a solid black domesticated cat named after the Indian city of Bombay. They have the nickname Parlor Panther and are social with children. These cats are comfortable being strictly indoor cats and crave attention. Parlor Panthers are available in two variations that include the American Bombay and the British Bombay. Moreover, they feature a short-haired glossy coat with a muscular build.

Ragdoll is a large-sized cat breed originally from Riverside, California, in the United States. These cats were bred in the 1960s by Ann Baker, an American breeder. Ragdolls are well known for their docile, placid traits and affectionate nature. These cats got their name from the habit of going limp with pleasure when they are being held.

Birman cat is a domestic cat breed that is derived from France, Sweden, and Burma. It is also known as Sacred Birman and Sacred Cat of Burma. These cats have deep blue eyes, and silky coats, and are also long-haired. Their bodies are light-colored with darker points on their tail, face, legs, and ears. Birmans have white paws that are often referred to as 'gloves'. They are friendly and affectionate cats that mostly choose a favorite between their owners and form a close bond.
