The Himalayan Cat or Hummy is a breed or sub-breed of long-haired cat which is similar in type to the Persian. It is attained by crossbreeding the Persians with the Siamese. They have long, silk coats originating from the Persian side and pointed colors on the ears, tail, face, and paws from the Siamese side. Hummies are known to be playful and adore the attention they get from their owners.

British Shorthair (also known as British Blue) is a medium-to-large-sized cat breed from the United Kingdom. These cats are known due to their compact, well-balanced, and powerful bodies. Their head, cheeks, and eyes are round. British Shorthairs also have a firm chin and medium-sized ears. They have a short, dense single coat without undercoat. A few male British Shorthairs can weigh up to 17 pounds (females mostly weigh 12 pounds or below).

Balinese Cat (also called Long-haired Siamese) is a medium-sized cat breed from the United States. These cats are known due to their silky fur and beautiful blue eyes. Balinese cats are also always vocal and rather demanding. These cats arose due to an unplanned genetic mutation in purebred Siamese that made the cats have a longer coat type.

The American Bobtail is a rare breed of domesticated cat that derived in the US in the late 1960s. This cat is commonly known for its short bobbed tail which is roughly one-third to one-half normal length of a cat's tail. They are also commonly referred to as the Golden Retriever of the Cat World. American Bobtails are highly adaptable cats, a trait that makes them fit for travelers. Their short tail is caused by a feline body type genetic mutation that impacts their tail development.

The Ragamuffin Cat is a friendly domesticated cat breed originally from the United States known for its thick fur. They were considered a type of Ragdoll Cats until 1994. These cats are known for having a broad, modified wedge with a moderately rounded forehead. Ragamuffin Cats have wide muzzle and puffy whiskers pads.

Exotic Shorthair is a medium to large-sized cat breed developed from a mix of American Shorthair and Persian. These cats were bred in the 1960s in the United States. This cat looks similar to the parent Persian apart from its short dense coat. They have a round, broad head, somewhat large and appropriate to their body, with big round eyes and a short muzzle that offer them a diverse and somewhat irritable expression.

The Burmese Cat is a medium-sized domesticated cat breed from Burma and developed in the United States and Britain. These cats require a lot of human contact and mental stimulation to stay healthy. They portray intelligent, energetic, and playful traits. They are good cats around children as long as they are well-socialized and the children respect the cat's boundaries. Moreover, this cat breed require more attention and suit a family where there is constant human contact.
